About Us

Osseo Adult Basic Education (ABE) offers free classes for adults. Our caring, patient staff can help you achieve your goal! Learn English; improve your reading, writing, or math skills; prepare for the GED exam; earn your adult diploma, learn alongside your children in family literacy; and gain skills and certificates for getting a job or promotion.

We are currently waiting for direction from the state of Minnesota and our district leadership regarding how classes will be held this fall: In-Person classes, Online classes, or a hybrid of the two.

In-Person classes and Online classes are scheduled to begin the week of September 8, 2020. (During the school year, new students start every other week.)

Starting class is easy! Currently, we offer in-person registration for In-Person classes and remote registration for Online classes.

Registration for In-Person classes:

Call us or visit us to make an appointment for an in-person registration session. Please call 763-566-5452 and then press Option 2. If we miss your call, please leave a message.

The in-person registration session may take about 4 hours. You will learn about our program, take assessment tests, and get next steps.

Registration for Online classes:

Complete and submit the online registration form. Click here to register for ONLINE classes.

Please note:

  • Students taking Online classes must have access to their own technology (phone, tablet, and/or computer).
  • The remote registration process should NOT take 4 hours.
  • After your online registration form is received and processed, you will be contacted with next steps.
